Humanity Vision understands that individuals with neurodiverse conditions or social communication challenges often face difficulties in social settings. Our Social Skills Development program is designed to support these individuals by providing a structured and supportive environment where they can work towards improving their social skills. Utilizing a cohort model combined with personalized case management, the program empowers participants to achieve their individualized goals in both group and individual settings.
The Social Skills Development program was created to address the most pressing needs of neurodiverse populations and those will social challenges, guided by the following goals:
-
Enhance social communication by improving participants' ability to communicate effectively in social settings.
-
Build confidence by increasing participants' confidence in their social interactions.
-
Develop relationships by fostering the ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships.
-
Promote independence by equipping participants with the skills needed to navigate social situations independently.
Through a combination of cohort-based learning, individualized case management, skill development workshops, and real-world practice opportunities, participants are empowered to achieve their personalized social goals and enhance their overall quality of life.
